The 4th Annual 2008 Hansen Dam Sprint Triathlon is back and better than ever. This year it is being held on Sunday, August 17, 2008. The Hansen Dam Triathlon is one of the fastest growing and most exciting events in Southern California. Located in the Los Angeles area, this City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks event is perfectly situated for all multi-sport competitors. Whether you are a novice or professional triathlete, this fun, fast and competitive event is a fantastic race to participate in. The race starts off with a great 500 yd. open water swim in our very own lake, is followed by an 11 mile fast and flat road course with some spectacular views, and culminates with a terrific 3 mile trail run through the Lower Lake area.
