Decker Canyon Camp is a year-round facility, a 38-acre tent camping site for groups; located in the rustic and rugged Santa Monica Mountains, a few miles from the Pacific Ocean on State Highway 23.

Decker has four sites, with total accommodations for 150 campers. There are flush toilets and showers. Each site contains wood and charcoal stoves, tables, benches and areas suitable for pitching tents. There are areas for large group activities, and playing volleyball. There is a large fire circle for evening programs.

How To Register

For more information, or to make reservations, please call the Camping Section Office at (213) 485-4853, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.

City of L.A. residents may make reservations eight months in advance (with proof of residency); all others may make reservations up to six months in advance.

Each Additional Person - Basic Camp Site (50 – 70 person maximum) $ 10.00 per night
Deposit (per site/per night reserved) $ 75.00 per night
Entire Camp Rental (minimum 125 persons) $ 850.00 per night
Each Additional Person - Entire Camp (up to 150 maximum) $ 10.00 per night
Deposit (per night reserved) $ 200.00 per night
