Public Information:

• Daniels Field Sports Center is permit only facility/field and not open to the public for general use. Please call Daniels Field Sports Center Office at (310) 548-7728 or the Angels Gate Office (310) 548-7705.
• Open Play courts are free and are first come, first served. Only one court per group. No class instruction without permit. To obtain a Permit for Commercial Activities please call (818) 785-5798.
• The Daniels Field Sports Center is proudly kept beautiful by the dedicated staff of the Department of Recreation and Parks, Harbor Region Maintenance District: (310) 548-7756.
• For a complete listing of authorized sports fields and dog parks in the City of Los Angeles visit the Recreation and Parks Department at: www.laparks.org.
• For all Field or Facility Use including picnics please fill out the Field & Facility Application form and submit along with payment. Allow at least two weeks for review.
• If you are considering posting a banner or sign at the Park please fill out the Banner or Sign Posting Request form and submit along with payment. Allow at least two weeks for review.

Facility Features:

Public Bathrooms, Locker Room, Bleachers, Sports Field for Soccer, Football, Rugby and other field sports. Daniels Field does not have Barbecue pits, children’s play area or picnic tables.

Park Information for the safe enjoyment of all patrons
1. General Service Police can be contacted at (213) 978-4670.
2. Permits are required for all commercial activities. Please call (818) 785-5798 for permits information.
3. Open Fires are Prohibited, this includes Charcoal Barbeques. Gas/propane Barbeques are allowed on pavement only. Please place all trash in proper containers.
4. No smoking (LAMC 57.23.02).
5. Alcohol is prohibited. (LAMC 41.27).
6. Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle; leave them at home or secure them out of view in your vehicle prior to leaving home.
7. Dog defecation is to be immediately removed by owner (LAMC 53.49).
8. Dogs must be leashed at all times in the parking area (LAMC 53.06.2).
9. All Dogs must be spayed or neutered (LAMC 53.15.2).
10. Aggressive dogs are not allowed in the park. Dogs exhibiting unusually aggressive behaviour are to be removed from the park at once (LAMC 53.34).
11. In the event of dog bite or injury owner/guardian must exchange current tag information and phone number (LAMC 53.29, 53.38).
12. Dogs must not be unattended. (LAMC 53.10 and 53.12) any dogs left unattended will be taken to the shelter.
13. All dogs over the age of four months shall be fully vaccinated and licensed (LAMC 53.21, 53.51 and LAMC 53.28). All dogs must wear collars and tags.
14. Dogs with communicable diseases are not allowed on park premises at any time. (LAMC 53.30).
15. Female dogs in any stage of heat are not permitted in the park (LAMC 53.29).
16. Abandoning of animals is prohibited (497(s) P.C.).
