The Robert M. Wilkinson Multipurpose Center, through a grant from the Los Angeles Dept. of Aging, offers classes, programs and support services operated by the Valley Interfaith Council. The facility is open Monday – Friday from 8:30am until 4:30pm with activities for seniors including nutrition, transportation, case management, social, educational and recreational programs. The Nutrition Program serves a hot lunch program daily at 11:30am for seniors 60+ with an optional donation of $1.75. In addition, the Wilkinson Senior Federation Club offers bingo on Tuesdays and Thursdays, a pool room open daily, special events and holiday parties. Los Angeles Dept. of Recreation and Parks continues to oversee the facility in the evenings and on the weekends for permitted groups with activities for seniors such as various dance programs and more.
Trips: The Wilkinson Center Senior Club conducts trips to local events and activities. For a yearly fee of $2.00, seniors 50+, can enjoy a variety of trips.
