Project Address:  207 E. 111th Place, Los Angeles, CA 90061

Project Description:   The project would involve the conversion of an existing residential lot into a small neighborhood “pocket park.” The new pocket park would consist of landscaping, including trees and shrubbery and decomposed granite. Irrigation (sprinkler) systems would be installed. Park amenities would include a play structure with resilient surfaces, fitness equipment, benches, and a drinking fountain. Hardscapes would include concrete walkways. Security fencing would also be installed around the entire site. The proposed park is intended to serve surrounding neighborhoods within walking distance. The proposed pocket park would comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The project site is located within the Southeast Los Angeles community of the City of Los Angeles at 207 E. 111th Place, between Main and San Pedro Streets.
