Multipurpose Centers

The Department of Recreation and Parks operates two Multipurpose centers: Robert M. Wilkinson in the North West Valley and Felicia Mahood in the West area.

 

Open Monday though Friday, operation hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. These Multipurpose Centers offer a wide variety of classes, activities and services through funding provided by the Older Americans Act and the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. We are able to provide social services to the frail elderly including but not limited to, Case Management, In Home Services, Transportation, Information and Assistance, Health Issues, Community Education and Advocacy. Nutritious hot lunches are served weekdays to eligible seniors, age 60 years and over.

 

To compliment these services, the centers also provide a wide variety of recreational classes and activities.
