Palms Recreation and Child Care Center staff, instructors, and
volunteers offer a variety of programs and activities for community
recreators. Parent and Me classes, experiential art programs,
day camp programs, dance and fitness activities are all available.
We offer seasonal sports for children 4-8 years of age, providing your child meets "born-in year" requirements. (Please see brochure for more specific information.) Pee Wee and Rookie Soccer is offered in the Fall (registration in June), Little Hoopsters Basketball is offered in the Winter (registration in October), and T-Ball and 5-Pitch is offered in the Spring (registration in February).
Palms Child Care Center offers pre-school and after-school programs
servicing Overland and Clover Elementary Schools. During the
Summer parents may choose to enroll their children in Palm’s
Funsters Camp, a half-day program (offered morning and afternoon)
for children ages 3-5.
Palms Park Day Camp programs are offered in the Summer, Winter,
and Spring based on the LAUSD school holiday periods. Sports
Camp is offered in the Summer only. Please check our current
brochure for information and camp dates.
The Palms Advisory Board meets once a month. Please contact the
Park Office if you are interested
in becoming a member.
Special Park Features include: Child Care Center, Auditorium,
Picnic Area, Playground, Basketball Courts, Palms Rancho-Park
Library. We have a picnic area and room available for birthday
parties and meetings. We do accept Moonbounces along with your
picnic permit for an additional fee. Please contact the Park
Office for details and availability.
