Downtown Stage 2010
The Pershing Square Downtown Stage offers five weeks of free entertainment four days a week. Wednesday through Saturday a variety of live music, and films will be available to the public at no charge. The concert lawn is open to the public at 7:30 PM and concerts begin at 8:00pm. Films begin at sunset. The audience is welcome to bring chairs, blankets and picnic baskets. Smoking and alcohol is not permitted at City of Los Angeles, Department of Recreation and Parks venues.
All of the artist who perform on the Pershing Square Downtown Stage donate a portion of their performance fee which makes the concert series possible. Pershing Square would also like to extend our thanks to the performer's mangers, agents and record companies for their help.
Sponsors including Guitar Center, 100.3 The Sound, Pageantry Productions, Spaceland Productions, Beta Records, Downtown Los Angeles civic groups, restaurants and businesses have joined with the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks to present this summer series at Pershing Square. The Downtown Stage entertains guest from Ventura to Orange County as well as valley and city neighborhoods close to Downtown Los Angeles. Audience members include families, friends and fellow musicians.
