THE ART–SQUARED GALLERY
The Art Squared Gallery is a community partnership between the Department of Recreation and Parks, Pershing Square and the L.A. Downtown Art Project. This outdoor city scape gallery opens in June 27 and runs through October exhibiting shows which include large 2D prints, 3D sculptures, performance art and various design installations. The current Art—Squared Gallery Committee includes Maureen Barten , Debi Cable, Shana Nys Dambrot, Bert Green, Lilli Muller, Mark Walsh and Kimsu Ye all of whom are talented artist themselves.
The season begins with a weekend art shows and continues with periodic additions and installations throughout the summer and fall.
Gallery is Open to the Public from June through October
2D ART
The August 13 installation of 2D art is a "Best of Pershing Square" show. Several works first previewed at the Art Squared Gallery will again be made available to the public for viewing.
3D SCULPTURE
Additional 3d art will be added to the city scape gallery including work by Jessamyn Lynn, Lily Braverman, and Juan Carlos.

AUTUMN LIGHTS
Autumn Lights Instillation will be held on Saturday September 25, 2010. Designed by Lilli Muller to illuminate the City from the downtown epicenter Pershing Square, this event creates a pulsating sensory moving nest that will draw people together and showcase the vibrancy of Los Angeles culture.
THE CHAIR-ITY EVENT
The Pershing Square Art Squared Gallery will be holding its first fund raiser in October 2010 to raise funds for gallery art projects in the coming year. The CHAIR – ITY event is a compilation of over 40 of Downtown Los Angeles’s artist who have created hand painted and hand crafted pieces of functional art. These one of kind pieces will be on display at the following:

The Pershing Square Art Squared Gallery located at Pershing Square, 532 South Olive Los Angeles, CA 90013 has presented the best of Los Angeles’s artist for the past 3 years as part of a partnership between the City of Los Angles Department of Recreation and Parks and the Downtown Los Angeles artist community. This outdoor city-scape gallery opens in June and runs through October exhibiting shows which include large 2D prints, 3D sculptures, performance art and various design installations.
