Special Events:

  • The Spring Egg Hunt is hosted by the recreation center and is open to all members of the community. It is on the Saturday before Easter. Free arts and crafts, games, and, of course, and egg hunt and visit from the Spring Bunny make this a most enjoyable event.
  • The Haunted Park is celebrating it's 31st year.  Children (7 years and older) and adults are invited for night of scares.
  • The "Park of Pain" will be from 7pm to 11pm on 10/28, 10/29, and 10/31.
  • The Halloween Kids Zone is another park staple.  Each year, children 8 years and younger are invited to a "not so scary" event in our gym.  The afternoon includes "carnival style" games, face painting, a trick or treat village, scary stories, a costume contest, and more.  The event is from 3pm-6pm.  Entrance is FREE!
