RAP, as one of the largest land-owners of open space within the City, participates on the One Water LA Steering Committee. The multi-agency committee includes City and non- City groups and is focused on planning for the future and maximizing resources to ensure that the City of Los Angeles becomes a greener and more sustainable city.
Water Cabinet – RAP is a member of the multi-departmental Mayoral Water Cabinet that was formed as part of Executive Directive #5. Responsibilities include oversight of the City’s water policy goals.
The Department of Recreation and Parks is also represented on the Green Streets Committee and provides project coordination regarding the use of storm water BMP’s where and when public right-of-way land connects to parkland.
