Ms. Chase has over thirty years of experience working within and for the benefit of communities throughout Los Angeles. She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, with a degree in Industrial Psychology.

Experience in community development, mentoring, consulting, fundraising, professional and educational recruiting; has afforded Nicole the opportunity to understand her communities from a unique perspective.

Currently, Ms. Chase is the Acting President & CEO for the Boys & Girls Club of San Fernando Valley; where she focuses on building and enhancing the Club’s after-school programs and raising funds to support the Club’s million-dollar annual operating budget for youth in the North East San Fernando Valley and beyond.

Chase is passionate about building upon the 50 plus years of service that the Club has provided to the community. The Club has been in the forefront of youth development in the San Fernando Valley, working with all young people, especially those from disadvantaged economic, social, and family circumstances. Today, the Club provide services annually to more than 2000 young people and their families. Over 80,000 youth have come through the Club’s doors. The Club is dedicated to ensuring that our community's young people have greater access to quality programs and services that will enhance their lives and shape their futures.

Additionally, as a certified facilitator for “Motivating the Teen Spirit”, she is active in motivational teen programs that bring emotional literacy and emotional healthiness to teens, which has helped young people, who have dropped out of school to return. She mentored, recruited and worked with teens and young adults, building up their skills and strengths in preparation for college and careers.

Chase has been involved in major community and citywide endeavors, including the Los Angeles Business Expo; formerly held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. As an Expo Director for seventeen years, Nicole managed major sponsorships, produced the West Coast Music Festival, and was the director over the Teen Leadership & Entrepreneurial Summit (which served thousands of teens) and was later appointed Director over the Tom Bradley Business Institute (a small business and entrepreneurial program).

Ms. Chase has been active on several commissions: Los Angeles County Library Commission Valley Regional Volunteer Neighborhood Oversight Committee for Proposition K: L.A. for Kids Los Angeles Department of Transportation Commission Los Angeles Zoo Commission

Nicole enjoys working with and on behalf of the City of Los Angeles and beyond, especially when it comes to the community and our youth.
