2025 Winter Storm + Fire Danger LA City Parks Closure Information

Due to adverse weather conditions and the wildfires, some parks and facilities may experience limited hours of operations or temporary closures to prioritize public safety.  All LA City Parks  sports and fitness programs and activities (including Permits) are suspended until further notice.  All LA City Pools are closed.  

 

Senior Centers, Licensed Child Care Centers, Non-Licensed Preschool Programs, Museum Activities will remain operational until further notice.  After School Enrichment Programs will remain available to enrolled participants at recreation centers that have not been closed. 
 
We encourage everyone to take precautions during this time. Please avoid unnecessary travel  in evacuation areas, stay updated on local weather alerts, and follow all safety guidelines. Due to  current air quality, we recommend that everyone limit outdoor activities, stay indoors as much as possible, and stay hydrated and avoid activities that could impact your respiratory system.

When activated as Air Quality centers, LA City's Recreation and Parks’ facilities are pet-friendly. Dogs must be on a leash and all pets must be accompanied by their owner at all times.
