What is a Partnership?

A Partnership is a collaboration with an individual, group, organization or business that shares a similar mission, goal or objective with RAP that expands or enhances existing programs, services and/or facilities through monetary or in-kind support.

Why should I Partner with RAP?

The City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks is a world-renowned leader in recreation that provides recreational programs to over 3.5 million residents. Our inventory of recreation and park facilities includes 256 ball fields, 368 playgrounds, 51 pools, 14 skate facilities, 12 museums, 2 beaches, 8 dog parks, 31 senior citizen centers, 321 tennis courts and more. Los Angeles is recognized as one of the nation’s most diverse cities and as a RAP partner you will have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of residents and visitors by expanding and enhancing recreational programs, services and facilities.

How do I become a partner?

To become a partner with RAP you must first submit a written proposal. The proposal will be reviewed by Partnership staff. If the information provided on the proposal meets the partnership criteria and standards, you will be contacted for further discussion.


Is there a proposal fee?

No, there is no fee.
