Discovery Agents 
It is a downloadable mobile gaming platform that allows kids and parents to search for different items and clues around Reseda Park. It gets kids outdoors moving, learning and having fun.

General Information: Reseda Recreation Center is located on Victory Blvd and Reseda. Our special features include: Multipurpose Center, Picnic Area, Playground, Four Tennis Courts, Outdoor Basketball Courts (two full courts and one half court), Field Space and Three Baseball Diamonds. The recreation building will be open during facility hours only, and will be locked at all other times. Groups may not exceed 100 people. Our staff, instructors, and volunteers offer a variety of programs and activities for the community. Day camp programs, sports leagues/programs, dance, and fitness activities are all available.

After School Program (Quack Pack) Information: Offers students from Tk-8th grade with homework assistance, enrichment classes, and organized games after school. We focus on creating relationships with students from different schools and teach them how to share and empathize with each other. We walk to pick up from New Castle Elementary and Sherman Oaks Enriched Studies. Parents/guardian may drop off.

Our After School Program is dedicated in providing a quality program to our youth. Our staff is trained in a variety of ways to encourage students to always do their best. We do have a behavior system in place that holds the students and parents accountable for their actions. Teen Club Information: Offers Middle School and High School students a safe place to hang out, eat, homework assistance, extracurricular activities, sports, dinner, and field trips. Ages 11-17 meets Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 4:00-8:00pm. Free for all teens. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at 818.881.3882

Permits: there are several areas that can be permitted, baseball diamonds, field space, and our multipurpose room. Please contact us for further information. Due to ongoing pandemic, indoor permits are not allowed at this time. 

Sports Information: We offer youth sports leagues for children 5-16 years of age. (Please see seasonal brochure for more specific information.)

Class Registration Information: Our current class information is available online. Please call 818.881.3882 for more information. Most classes run 8 weeks, unless otherwise stated. Students must meet class age requirements by the date of enrollment. Staff reserves the right to require proof of age at any time. Only Visa and MasterCard credit cards can be used to register online. Walk-In registration and online registration always start on Mondays, check brochure for dates. Payment in full by credit card, check, exact cash or money order must be made in person at the time of Walk-In Registration. Checks are to be made payable to “L.A. City Department of Recreation and Parks”. Class fees will NOT be prorated until after the fourth week of classes. See below for our refund policy.

Please consult with your physician before enrolling in any physically demanding class. Persons with disabilities are welcome to participate in our programs. Reasonable accommodations will be made with prior arrangements.

ACTIVITY REFUND POLICY:

  • A 15% fee will be assessed by the recreation center for any patron granted a refund, change, or transfer per class or sports league registration. After the first day of a session the recreation center issues a partial refund to patrons withdrawing from an activity.
  • No full refunds will be issued unless a class or sports league is canceled by the center.
  • Credit or make-ups will not be given for classes missed by patrons.
  • There will be no prorating before the 4th week of classes, thereafter 20% will be prorated from the original class fee.
  • We reserve the right to cancel/combine classes if the minimum enrollment is not met.
  • Refunds can take up for 4-6 weeks to process.
