CABRILLO BEACH

• Swim tests will be starting up Sunday April 13th and be ongoing on Sundays (excluding holiday weekend) until further notice from the facilities allowing us to use pools. Please request to complete a junior lifeguard swim test with Cabrillo Beach lifeguard staff.
• Swim tests will be held at the times and locations of which our neighboring pools permit us to test at. For direct information on JG swim tests updates please feel free to email cabrillobeach.lifeguard@lacity.org or call 310-548-2909. At this time you can expect swim tests for Cabrillo Beach Junior Lifeguards at the following pools and times:

We have a few weekends of swim tests so if you don't pass the first time, come back and try again. Once the swim is successfully completed, the junior lifeguard instructor present will supply you with the registration link. Registration and payment are completed entirely online and can be found at the following link https://www.laparks.org/activity-details?activity_id=671122301. DO NOT REGISTER BEFORE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETELY THE SWIM TEST REQUIREMENT. Any person registered that is found to be outside the age requirement or has not successfully completed the swim will be removed from official registration. 
 

Please be sure to leave your name (first and last), name of the new junior lifeguard, best contact phone number, and preferred email address with the junior lifeguard instructor before leaving your swim test. They should have a clipboard and paper to document your information. This will assure that we add you to our current contact list of junior lifeguards and that we can contact you if we don't see you on our registration website.
