General Information: Westchester Recreation Center offers a variety of programs throughout the year. Our After School Club runs from August to June and provides transportation from local schools to the park. Pre-School starts in August and ends in June for children 3-5 years old. Classes vary seasonally and last 6-8 weeks. Sports programs are offered for boys and girls ages 5-15 years old as follows:

Day Camp Information: Westchester Recreation Center offers camps in the Summer, Winter, and Spring. Day camp is open to ages 5-12 years old. Counselor In Training (CIT) Camp is available for children 13-15 years old. The Westchester Pre-School Camp is offered in the summer for ages 3-5 years old.
Park Advisory Board Information: The Park Advisory Board (PAB) meets on a quarterly basis, as needed. If you are interested in becoming a member or attending a meeting, please contact the park office.
Class Registration Information: Classes change on a seasonal basis. Please refer to the flyers for current classes being offered. Typical classes include Sports, Fitness, and Arts & Crafts.
Adult Recreation Services: Adults are invited to open gym for volleyball and badminton. Adult Softball is offered by our Municipal Sports division.
Special Events:
- The Spring Egg Hunt is hosted by the recreation center and is open to all members of the community. It is on the Saturday before Easter. Free arts and crafts, games, an egg hunt, and a visit from the Spring Bunny make this a most enjoyable event.
- The Halloween Kids Zone is another park staple. Each year, children of all ages are invited to a "not so scary" event in our gym. The event includes "carnival style" games, scary stories, a costume contest, and more. Entrance is FREE!
