Camp Yucca:

It is the philosophy of Camp Yucca that we provide a fun, safe, and nurturing, diverse, and caring environment so that every child may enjoy an exciting camp adventure based on, safety, fun, fitness, and friendships.

We provide a variety of activities such as games, sports, crafts and special events that have been woven together in a traditional day camp setting. Our purpose is to teach, guide, and safeguard children who come to learn and play. Our program strives to meet the fundamental needs for the growth and development of all children.

Our goals include supporting and strengthening each child while focusing on improving communication, increasing the ability to work and play in a group, and to share each other’s culture and values. Additionally, we strive to develop children to their fullest potential. We focus on self-awareness, self-confidence and feelings of self-worth, values development, physical development, health and nutritional awareness.

Our caring staff is dedicated to helping your child grow in a warm, fun, and exciting environment. Counselors communicate and listen to campers in a manner that reflects respect, focusing attention primarily on campers needs and interest. Our counselors want to make each campers experience memorable and fun.

Facility Features

Basketball Courts (Lighted / Outdoor), Childrens Play Area, Picnic Tables, Soccer Field (Unlighted), Community Room, Synthetic Field

Facility Usage Permits are available for anyone (over 18 years old) interested in using the facility for meetings or personal usage such as birthday parties, baby showers and/or community events. Request must be made at least 4-6 weeks prior to the event, and all fees (where applicable) must be paid in full at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the event. All requests to use the facility must be approved by the Facility Director.
