The Department of Recreation and Parks operates 29 senior citizen centers throughout the City. In addition, these centers offer activities, programs, and special events such as shuffleboard, croquet, arts and crafts, zumba, line dancing, language lessons, oil painting, entertainment, and social dancing. Some senior citizen centers offer a nutrition program through the Department of Aging. Several programs are offered through the Los Angeles Federation of Senior Citizen Clubs.

Friendly Seniors: Meets every Wednesday at 10:30am
Merry Makers: Meets every Thursday at 10:30am (Bingo 1:00pm-3:30pm, Club Meeting 2:00pm)
Happy Highlanders: Meets every Friday at 10:30am (Bingo 1:00pm-3:30pm, Club Meeting 2:00pm)
Shuffleboard: Meets every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday at 9:00am
Filipino American Adult Community Club: Meets every Monday at 1:00pm-4:00pm
Art Club: Meets every Tuesday from 9:00am-4:00pm
Exercise Class: Meets Mondays and Fridays from 9:00am-10:00am
Crochet and Knitting Class: Meets every Friday from 10:00am-12:00pm
LA Regional Food Bank for Seniors: 3rd Monday of each month. If it falls on Holiday check with the center
Senior Citizen Nutrition Program (Seniors 60+) M - F. Sign in begins at 10:00 am. Lunch is served at 11:30 am on a first come, first serve basis.
